New Building Applications
At initial design stage Vertaria Green will collaborate with the architects of your choice to ensure that the building architecture and its landscaped setting are fully integrated into one cohesive design concept.
Our involvement at this initial design stage enables you to appraise the full effect of building location and orientation within the site, and the interfaces between the internal and external aspects of the completed building.

DESIGN PROCESS
You are an essential part of the design team
Our aim is to help you plan, plant and grow successful, low maintenance landscape with only positive effects on our environment.
Design Questionnaire
You provide the seeds for the initial design concepts by communicating your preferences in the Design Questionnaire.
Site Verification Studies
We will organize a visit to your site to collect the following site verification data:
- Site topography, dimensions and areas;
- Building location, dimensions and configuration;
- Main existing features including underground drainage, utility routing, landscaping and boundary treatments, access points, paths and driveways;
- Soil and water sampling for laboratory analysis;
- Digital images of the existing house and garden (if applicable);
- Digital data of your new home from your architect (if applicable).

Initial Concept Design Scheme
Based on the content of the Design Questionnaire, on the results of the site verification studies, and through using Vertaria Green’s extensive know how, an initial concept design scheme will be prepared.
The initial concept design scheme will either be prepared using hand drawn sketches or in CAD format, presented with digitally prepared images, and will include the following data:
- Site layout plan showing each plant, hardscape item and all existing and proposed site features;
- Outline technical specification of construction elements;
- List of recommended plants;
- Budget cost plan and preliminary project programme;
- Site layout plan showing nightscaping (if applicable);
- Site layout plan showing specific water features (if applicable);
- Potential technical permitting requirements.
Client Consultation
Vertaria Green will present the initial concept design scheme at a client consultation meeting during which the proposals will be explained in detail and reviewed for compliance with client requirements.
Detailed Design Scheme
Any required revisions noted during the client consultation meeting will be incorporated by Vertaria Green into a detailed design scheme suitable for technical permitting, if applicable, and for the execution of the whole of the works.

EXECUTION PROCESS
Supervision of Works
Vertaria Green involvement in the project can be restricted to the design elements of the overall service. However many clients value our continuing role as construction and cost managers of the physical works, to guarantee quality standards in accordance with the agreed detailed design scheme.
All management services will be provided by qualified and experienced full time Vertaria Green expatriate personnel.
Competitive Tendering
Alternatively, Vertaria Green can, in competition with other client-selected contractors, provide a fixed price tender for the execution of any greenscape, waterscape, nightscape and hardscape works.
