Vertaria Golf is bringing to Romania the know-how associated with all aspects of golf and residential golf course developments.

The company emerged from the need and desire to develop golf as a sport and as a way of life in Romania.  Vertaria’s credo is defined by the combination of golf knowledge, respect for etiquette, honesty in a sporting context and beautiful, green nature.

Vertaria Golf is:

• Promoter and supporter of the ethos of golf as a sport and all the activities connected with it
• Expert and consultant for all types of golf developments (golf courses, driving ranges and other practice facilities, academies and other teaching facilities, urban golf, etc.)
• Educator who is able to explain in simple terms the complexity, beauty, spirituality and uniqueness of golf

Romania is in the “early childhood” (or perhaps “rebirth”) of golfing activities, therefore Vertaria Golf’s passion for the sport, understanding of the history and present infrastructure, knowledge of the game and excellent connections in the world of golf and are solid pillars to help our clients develop a strategy around golf and residential golf course developments.

Our team has a solid foundation:

• Both directors are experienced low-handicap amateur golfers.  They have significant experience in playing competitively for representative teams and in managing diverse golfing activities.  They are, in short, passionate about golf.

• Vertaria has hired the only green keeper/agronomist in Romania and the only international golf course architect working on a regular basis in Romania.
• Vertaria has an exclusive association with the STRI, the leading sports turf research institute in Europe.
• Vertaria has close connections with the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A), the European Golf Association (EGA), the Professional Golfer’s Association (PGA), the United States Golf Association (USGA), the British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA) and the Federation of European Golf Greenkeepers Associations (FEGGA).
