Vertaria is the new name for LEICo Golf, a company founded in Romania in late 2003 as a 100% subsidiary of LEICo S.A., which is based in Luxembourg, the heart of Europe.

Green, Golf, Homes and Consult are just some of the companies that are being developed under the Vertaria umbrella.  These are active in different areas: property development, landscaping, golf course design, sports turf, golf related sports activities and consulting.  As common ground all have Vertaria’s credo that is defined by the combination of golf knowledge, respect for etiquette, honesty in a sporting context and beautiful, green nature.

The game of golf is going through a “rebirth” here in Romania, and Vertaria emerged from the need and desire to develop golf as a sport and as a way of life in Romania.  Not only a promoter and supporter of the ethos of golf and all the activities connected with it, Vertaria is also expert and consultant for all types of golf developments (golf courses with or without residential area, driving ranges and other practice facilities, academies and other teaching facilities, urban golf, etc).

Romania is still one of the markets almost untouched by the unique sport of golf and the business opportunities are there to be opened up.  A whole new cultural dimension is on the verge of significant expansion.
